Product Description

The MS Series Inverter/Charger from Magnum Energy - a pure sine wave inverter designed specifically for the most demanding mobile and off grid applications. The MS Series is powerful, easy-to-use, and best of all, cost effective. Power Factor Corrected (PFC) Charger is built into all of our inverter/chargers. It uses less energy from a generator than a standard charger - using 25-30% less AC current. ETL Listed to the stringent requirements of UL/cUL 458 for mobile use and ETL Listed UL 1741 and CSA C22.2 #107.1-01 for renewable energy installations. The Magnum also meets KKK-A-1822E standards for emergency vehicle use. Simply connect the inverter's output to your distribution circuits or electrical panel, connect your utility power cable to the inverter's easy-to-reach terminal block, connect the batteries, and switch on the power. Features: Pure sine wave: Power your T.V.s, stereos, plasma screens, and other sensitive electronics without worry. The pure sine wave inverter and power factor corrected charger provide clean, reliable inverter power with low total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 5%. Mount the MS Series on a shelf, bulkhead, or even upside down. The lightweight aluminum base and cover also provides noise reduction and corrosion resistance. The MS Series provides multiple ports, including an RS485 communication port for network expansion, and a remote port. The extra large AC access cover with terminal screw block and 360° DC connection terminals with covers make this inverter more accessible when it needs to be. The MS Series comes with an on/off inverter-mounted switch with an easy-to-read LED indicator. The MS Series is backed by a three-year (36-month) limited warranty. Dimensions in inches: 13.7 x 12.65 x 8.0. Shipping Weight: 60 pounds.

  • Magnum ME-BMK Battery Monitoring Kit The Battery Monitor from Magnum Energy gives you a "fuel gauge" type of meter for your batteries. It gives you the "percentage of charge" for your battery bank. This monitor reports state of charge, real time amps, amp hours in/out, and minimum/maximum DC volts. The kit includes the sense module, sense and communication cables, and a 500 amp shunt. This item works with ME, MS, MS-AE and RD Series inverter/chargers. The ME-RC remote must have version 2.0 of the firmware. If you have a remote with an older firmware release, it can be upgraded by sending it back to Magnum. 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. This inverter does everything and more. If you want clean pure sine wave, this is it. The power it delivers is cleaner then my home power from the city! I installed it on a food truck with 12v system, cost to combined two different systems wasnt able to afford, just added 12v convert / charge to run off 24v system to keep 12v system battery bank charged when truck not running. All my refrigeration keeps everything cold or frozen, motors dont run hot with pure sine wave! one pointer will help with your battery bank amp. Per hour usage. Use 12v,24v or 48v whatever your system is to get your hourly watts needed not 120v to build your battery bank for your 120v equipment. No one told me this information. Miss calculated how long truck can set not in use without being plugged in or run generator not 23hrs but 11.5 hrs low end still great. Overall very happy!
