3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.The Battery Tender 10W solar panel worked well for 7 months. Now the control unit has apparently failed and the charging LED only flickers occasionally. I was propping the panel against the inside of the windshield of my parked car where it could receive direct sunlight in the afternoon, but even when the sunlight was indirect, the LED charging indicator on the Battery Tender would glow as soon as the sun was fully up in the morning. The car in question doesn't get driven enough to keep its battery from running down, and the solar panel was doing an excellent job of maintaining the battery. I had purchased an adapter cable that plugged into the car's cigarette lighter socket so it wasn't too inconvenient to set up and remove the panel. [Battery Tender Deltran Cigarette Lighter Adapter 081-0069-5]Previously, I needed to use a battery charger every couple of weeks and now, unfortunately, that chore has returned.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.Not completely happy with the cheap plastic corners which arethe mounting points. However I installed this on my travel trailer where I run 2 batteries anddo allot of dry camping. It keeps my batteries fully charged.
